Award Recipients
In 2015 the Devon Rex Breed Club honored Gerri Logan, Loganderry and Derry-Hill, by establishing the Gerri Logan Kitten Award.  This was done in recognition of her outstanding commitment, and valuable contributions, to the Devon Rex breed.  She was a breeder, exhibitor, and mentor. Gerri was considered the "Grande Dame" of the Devon Rex Breed and she was instrumental in the Devon Rex being accepted in CFA.  She worked tirelessly to improve the breed and bred cats with a very distinct type.  To this day, many refer to “the Loganderry look” when speaking about her cats.  Gerri joined the Devon Rex Breed Club in 1991 and served the clubs in many leadership roles and as a member of multiple committees. She was President from 1995 to 1997, Vice President from 1987 to 1989, and Newsletter Editor from 1995 to 1996. Gerri was deeply passionate about the Devon Rex. She had a special affinity for kittens, which she felt represented the future and potential of the Devon Rex Breed. It is in honor of this passion that the Kitten Award was established.
