In 2016 the Devon Rex Breed club honored Beryl by establishing the Beryl Peters Premiership Award. Beryl joined the DRBC in 1995.  She was equally devoted to her beloved Devons and to the Club.  Her involvement in the DRBC was long standing and substantial.  Beryl served as Editor of the Devon Rex Breed Club Newsletter from 1997 to 2009 and as Associate Editor from 2010 to 2012, for a total of 59 issues.  She also served as the DRBC Vice President from 2011 to 2013.  Beryl also contributed to CFA, as an exhibitor and a club member.  She was a member of two local CFA clubs for over two decades.  Beryl was actively involved in the annual cat shows held by both of the clubs.    One of Beryl’s proudest moments was when her Devon, GP Scattergold Logan On The Totempole (“Logan”), achieved his Grand Premier award.  Logan went on to be Fifth Best Devon Rex in Premiership in the 1997-1998 show season.
